This holiday season, thousands of LGBTQ youth are out in the cold. To combat this problem, the Chicago charity, Care for Friends, is inviting folks to spend a night in tents out in the cold in the middle of February to raise money to support homeless LGBTQ youth. Today JD Miller- chairperson of the Care for Friends joins us to talk about the complex nature of what it takes to motivate people to give not just during the holiday season, but to give all year long.
