He grew up on military bases, from the east coast of the United States to Japan. He currently lives in New York City, but calls Atlanta home.

NIRAJ MEHTA: Niraj Mehta, MD received his medical degree and completed his residency in radiation oncology at UCLA where he was awarded the American College of Radiation Oncology (ACRO) Best Fellowship Award. He emphasizes optimizing functional health outcomes through patient empowerment, movement-based programs of exercise, stress relief, nutrition, and therapeutic restorative strategies for patients and caretakers. As a radiation oncologist and professional choreographer, Dr. Mehta is the founder of Making Moves Universal (MMU), an international program/movement working to combine the spirit of mindful movement and music to improve life situations for those with chronic illness. Dr. Mehta has been featured on major television networks including NBC and CNN Español. He also gives various talks and lectures both locally and internationally in English, Spanish, and Portuguese.
