College Football media days are upon us! No better time for the guys to finish out their 2017 opponent previews. This episode is pretty long, but if you make it to the end, Robbie stumps Pete with a mystery hip-hip song.

Pete and Robbie interview Chris Van Dine from Phil Steele's College Football Preview magazine. Chris provides insight on VT's upcoming season and lets the guys know how the staff over at the magazine believes the ACC will shake out.

In this episode, the guys update you on the latest recruiting news, preview the first half of the 2017 VT Football schedule, and enjoy some beers perfect for the hot summer weather. If you make it to the end of the pod, you'll hear them answer a couple twitter questions as well.

Another Spring Game is in the books... well, "game" is a bit strong since it was an offense vs. defense scrimmage again this year... nevertheless, there were some things to get excited about. Robbie and Pete breakdown all the action and give their thoughts on each position group. They also discuss VT's prospects for the NFL Draft and make their predictions for points per game in 2017. 

Hope springs eternal. Well it does for Pete and Robbie at least. While there are plenty of reasons to be concerned about Virginia Tech's chances to repeat as Coastal champs in 2017, the guys provide just as many reasons to be optimistic. In this episode, the puzzle that is the spring depth chart gets discussed in great detail, with special attention paid to the brewing QB competition. Who will step up at WR? Who will fill the right side of the offensive line? What springtime beers should I be buying? The answers to all these questions are just a click away.

Finally! After a long hiatus, Virginia Tech is back in the NCAA Tournament. Pete and Robbie gleefully recap the historic season before breaking down the first round game against Wisconsin. It's a tough draw, but that doesn't stop the guys from getting ahead of themselves and discussing a potential match-up vs. #1 overall seed Villanova in round two. It feels so good to be back in the big dance; sit back and enjoy the ride!

Welcome to Blacksburg! The members of Virginia Tech's 2017 recruiting class have officially signed their letters of intent to play football for the Hokies. Pete and Robbie discuss the key commitments, provide analysis on the class as a whole, and even attempt some film review. Overall, it's a very exciting group of recruits; a handful of players could have key roles right away for Coach Fuente. The guys also go over the 2017 schedule and give their early predictions on next year's record. Is Robbie actually optimistic? Find out on the first episode of season three of Two Deep!

VT BACK! 10 wins and it feels so good. What a wild game; down 24-0 at the half, the stage was set for an all-time comeback. The guys recap all the action, and have to come clean on their whereabouts for the second half. The discussion then turns bittersweet as our star QB, Jerod Evans, announced he's leaving VT early to enter the NFL draft. Pete and Robbie offer their thoughts on the matter and what it could mean for the offense in 2017. Make sure to stick around for National Championship Picks. It's really hard to believe the season is over, but what a season it was. Go Hokies!

It's the most wonderful time of the year... Bowl season! With the help of Jonathan French from The Key Play, Pete and Robbie preview the upcoming match-up against the Arkansas Razorbacks. It should be a good time down in Charlotte, and the guys are optimistic about VT getting to 10 wins. Stick around for Bowl picks and VT trivia at the end. So close! Unfortunately, VT came up short on Saturday night vs. the Clemson Tigers. It was a valiant effort by the Hokies, one that most of the media didn't expect. Robbie and Pete recap the game while also talking Heisman, Belk Bowl, and some Buzzketball. It's been a great fall for Hokie sports; let's hope it continues throughout the winter.

We're going to Disney World! The Hokies destroyed UVA and are heading to the ACC title game in Orlando. The guys recap the beatdown and discuss the impact of ACC coach of the year Justin Fuente. Clemson's bevy of talent provides reason to be doubtful of VT's chances on Saturday night, but Pete and Robbie detail their keys to victory. Winning the ACC would be huge for Virginia Tech, but there will be no shame in a loss. Let's see if the boys from Blacksburg can pull the upset!

What a comeback! It was more dramatic than it needed to be, but VT got the win over Notre Dame. The guys break down the historic victory and talk about their trip to South Bend. More importantly, it's hate week and the Coastal crown is on the line for the Hokies against UVA. Win, and VT plays Clemson for the ACC title; lose, and the season is a disappointment. Pete and Robbie discuss the many reasons Tech should get the W, but they still couldn't be more nervous. Let's hope it's a happy Thanksgiving weekend. 

During the second part of Monday's recording, the guys talked a little hoops. They recapped the opening night win over Maine, and Robbie prodded Pete with some big-picture questions about VT's prospects for the 2016-2017 season. Finally, the guys made their weekly ACC picks against the spread. Both are going with the Hokies, shocker.

Swing and a miss! The Hokies had a chance to clinch the Coastal against GT last Saturday, but whiffed in spectacular fashion. The amount of costly mistakes was mind-boggling, and the guys do their best to sift through the wreckage. After the recap, Pete and Robbie preview the match-up against Notre Dame, which, unfortunately, has lost a lot of its luster. Nevertheless, it's a chance for VT to get back on track before the UVA game, one they need to win desperately.

Whew, that was a close one! Things got a little dicey down in Durham on Saturday, but the Hokies got the W. The guys give their thoughts on the narrow victory, and then get you ready for game against Georgia Tech. GT's triple option offense always makes for an interesting match-up, but their defense has a lot of holes, something Fuente needs to exploit. With only two ACC games left on the schedule, the Coastal crown is within reach; we'll see if VT can validate their no. 14 playoff committee ranking.

Ding-dong, the witch is dead! That's right, we finally beat Pitt at Heinz field! Virginia Tech is in full control of the Coastal and it feels so good. The guys recap the gritty performance and rail on Pat Narduzzi's sideline antics (what a clown). Now that the Hokies have cleared this major hurdle, they need to be in full take-care-of-business mode. The home stretch of the season starts with Duke and coach Cutcliffe. After the preview, Pete and Robbie make their weekly picks against the spread. 

In the second portion of The Rivermill recording, the guys previewed Thursday's match-up against Pittsburgh. You can tell they're getting a bit toasty, but the content is still there. Pete and Robbie both gush about James Conner, and give plenty of reasons to be fearful of Heinz field, which has proven to be too big a hurdle for the Hokies in years past. If VT can finally beat the Panthers at home, the rest of the season could be special.

VICTORY! VT got a huge bounce-back win against the Hurricanes on Thursday night, 37-16. Pete and Robbie are beyond pumped in this episode, enjoying themselves quite a bit while recording on site at The Rivermill. Ryan Dye of The Key Play was also kind enough to stop by, giving the guys a sideline report and providing some insight on the Coastal race. The loss to Syracuse seemed to get Tech's mind right; the rest of the division better watch out. 

That sound you hear is the Hokies crashing back down to earth. After three impressive wins in a row, VT had a real clunker of game, losing to Syracuse 31-17. After recapping what went wrong, Pete and Robbie put lipstick on a pig suggesting that this loss can be used for motivation going into Miami. Let's hope that Coach Fuente and the boys agree with that. A HUGE Thursday night game awaits this team on a short week. Can the Hokies pick up the pieces and remain in the driver's seat for the Coastal?! Here's hoping.
