If you didn't draw or just want a chance at the hunt of a lifetime, we've got you covered. We also talk with Bruce Billings who recently returned from a Grizzly Bear hunt with Lance Kronberger. This is the same hunt we will be giving away in just a few days. We also call Epic's own, Chris Petersen who got married last weekend to get the update. 

Point Creep and What to Do if You Didn't Draw. In this episode we talk about the point creep we saw in a lot of the West and especially in the Colorado draw. There are a lot of us that are now left with an open schedule wondering how to find opportunities. We go through what may still be available and discuss some options. Colorado Draw Results, and Hunt Winners. In this episode of the Epic Outdoors Podcast we talk about the Colorado Mule deer draw results being released  today. We also talk about upcoming deadlines for the remaining western states. We talk with the Nevada Silver State Mule Deer Tag Winner about his 1 in 10,000 odds and then call a past Epic Hunt winner that just came home from his successful Brown bear hunt in Alaska with a 10 foot bear. EP 206: News of the West. Draws and Drought. In this episode of the Epic Outdoors Podcast we go through new of the west including draw updates draw deadlines in the western states. We also talk with Outfitter David Matthews about Arizona and New Mexico, drought, Mule Deer, Elk, and Coues Deer. We then hear from Eric Hunt of Arizona Desert Outfitters. Eric drew for the National Park Bison project. There is a lot happening this time of year and were ready for scouting. 

10 Years of KUIU with Brendan Burns. In this episode of the Epic Outdoors Podcast we talk with Brendan Burns of KUIU. We have worked closely with Brendan for a decade. From the birth of KUIU til now we have seen incredible innovation and success and are happy to have been a part of it. Shortly after, as we ventured off and started Epic Outdoors, KUIU was the first company to jump on board and support us as a full time advertiser. Wrapping Up Your Applications. In this episode of the Epic Outdoors Podcast we get the crew together and talk about the front burner items of this time of year. We talk about the last few state applications that are still open, and plan for possible hunts. We talk about some interesting new opportunities in Arizona and have fun discussing these. We talk applications, the draw process, management and management quotas. We love the quality of game in Nevada and also the sound thought process behind management. In this episode we talk a lot about changes we are seeing in hunting this includes point creep, new regulations to keep up with advancements in technology, and adjustments due to social climate. We also call our good friend, Tim Pask, to talk about his Idaho Bighorn Sheep hunt. 

EP 201:Trucks, Maps, and Hunt Apps with Aaron Bronson. In this episode we change things up with Adam Bronson on the road and his brother, Aaron, in studio. We also talk trucks, maps, and hunt apps as application season continues and Colorado approaches. 

The 200 Inch Mule Deer Episode. In this special 200th episode of The Epic Outdoors Podcast we call some of our friends who have taken some incredible bucks over 200" in hopes of learning something from each of them. These type of bucks are incredibly rare. Making it happen takes a lot of dedication, hard work, and usually plenty of luck. We learned that usually luck is something we have to earn. We hear about missed opportunities, blown stalks, and that moment when it finally comes together. Sit back and enjoy nearly 3 hours of giant Mule deer. 

EP 199: Meet New Epic Consultant Josh Pollock. In this episode we introduce you to our newest hunting consultant, Josh Pollock. Josh is a big time hunter and also spent 10 years working for the Utah Game and Fish as a Game Warden and then a Biologist. Josh has a lot of experience in the areas that matter. We also talk about some of Josh's hunting experiences, from Monster Mule Deer in Utah and a bull he killed over 400"  Were excited to have Josh on board.

Colorado Mule Deer Unit by Unit. In this episode we go through Colorado's Mule Deer Units and give our take on them. As we prepare to apply this year we wanted to share our thoughts on Colorado. Every year we take hundreds of calls on Colorado Mule deer applications and in this episode we'll share a lot of our thoughts on the subject. Which units do we feel have better genetics, and which ones we feel could benefit from tag cuts. This is how we see Colorado's Mule deer units. 

Getting in the Game with PNWild. In this episode of the Epic Outdoors Podcast we teamed up with the guys at the PNWild Podcast. They had some questions for Jason on Mule deer, big elk, where to start with applications, how to develop a long term application strategy, glassing tips, and much more. This was a fun episode where we got to sit back and have a conversation about the things we love and live for. 

Utah Deadline, Tags, and a New Polaris. In this episode of The Epic Outdoors Podcast we talk about the looming deadline for Utah Applications. We talk more in detail about current weather trends in Utah and our Outlook for 2021. We also talk with Colton Francis, of Triple S Polaris who is building an EPIC hunt rig for us. We also talk about New Mexico and why we like applying in the New Mexico Draw. 

Hunting Colorado with Mike Duplan. In this episode we get to sit down in the studio with Mike Duplan, co-author of "The Edge" a book about hunting mountain mule deer. Mike is a longtime Colorado resident and has deep experience hunting in the state. Our conversation focuses primarily on hunting big mule deer but we also talk about sheep, elk, and moose as Mike has dedicated a lot of time to each of those species. We discuss how we see Colorado wildlife and wildlife management currently and in the future. 

Applying in Utah and New Mexico. In this episode we talk through our outlook on application season. Utah and New Mexico are upcoming as well as the Nevada guide draw. We talk through some important things to remember when applying in these states. If you love to hunt these are must apply for states. There are some big potential changes to be aware of good luck in the draw.

This year could change the way you've hunted for many years. 

Advancements in Optics with Colby Kroff of Swarovski. This week we had Colby Kroff of Swarovski in the studio. Colby brought in the new, highly anticipated, EL Range TA. The advancements are incredible. Bluetooth capable, the ability to program ballistic profiles from rifles, and the all new Tracking Assist program.
