That felt like another jam packed episode. The Reward challenge was fun with some new elements but maybe a bit anticlimactic at the end. The fans were very happy with this episode. The shuffle appears to have saved the pre-merge portion of the game, and all the surprises and expert level gameplay helped balance out the loss of a clear fan favorite. Tribe shuffles inject randomness and really test a castaways ability to adapt and roll with the punches. It's unfortunate that production chose to stay with tiny tribes, but on the bright side, we certainly got a surprise out of it. That was a great demonstration of strategic gameplay! The fans were not impressed by the forced game of chance on the Journey combined with the possibility for the castaways to lose their vote.
