The fans have spoken and this was one of the best, most favorable reactions we've had to a new cast in all of the post pandemic, "new era" seasons. Lots of us are thrilled to have the initial two hour episodes, but it's clearly not everyone's cup of tea. Two hours can be a lot to ask depending on how you watch and what you value in the show. We thoroughly enjoyed the Finale. The challenges were classics and there was some attempts at strategy that stood out. Tribal council was solid and, the After Show was the After Show. It's official. The return of the Survivor Auction was a hit! Several fans had recommendations for further improvements, but on the whole, it was great to have this favorite element return to the game. Speaking of favorites, we lost another in the vote out this week, but most agreed that was part of what made the blindside so exciting. We finally got our first, post merge episode where everyone but one castaway was vulnerable and we got to see the group dynamics at work.
