Everyone holes up in Dale's suite, unable to come up with a plan of action. But people are getting restless. Michelle wants to know exactly what's going on so she starts to question Shane. But sadly he doesn't have the answers everyone is looking for. Everyone is finally back together. But there's no time to catch up. They need to get off the ship. Before they can leave though, Dale has one request. The group is still separated, but after Skye and Erika avoid the creature in the hall, they head back upstairs. Erika hopes Shane is able to make it back to their room. Little does she know, it won't be easy. Cora and Dale are forced to use ropes and a grate to lift Shane out of the engine room. Everyone is on their own mission. Michelle and Roger make their way to the Navigation deck, but of course it's deserted. Meanwhile, Skye and Erika are shrouded in darkness and under attack by one of the deer creatures. But Erika hears Shane in the elevator shaft which gives her hope. After Shane tells Cora about Erika and Skye, they proceed to escape the engine room. The only problem is there's only one way out. By ladder. After finding Shane acting weird, Erika goes along with Michelle's plan and hides in a piano bar. Erika's not sure why Shane refuses to tell her what's wrong, but after a couple hours of hiding out she feels it's enough. Shane does not care for Erika's friend Michelle, but he puts up with her. This whole trip is for Erika. He wants to make it a very special birthday. They visit some hot spots around Vancouver until it's time to board the ship.
