After four years as a starter at La Salle, St. John embarked on a professional basketball career that spanned more than a decade and took him to more than 20 countries. Still in his prime, St. John once again had his sports career ended by heartbreaking medical news: a life-threatening heart condition. After returning to his hometown to pick up the pieces, St. John picked himself back up and dedicated himself to helping the next generation of young players as a coach.
