  • Is Unbiased News in the Media Possible?

    09/09/2016 Duración: 01h24min

Talking back at the talkbackers -- for all the good that television news is capable of, this good only comes as one possible consequence of great power. This is yet another narrative in our lives, a major socializing agent in the ranks of parents, school, friends, and the entertainment we actually enjoy. News is not only potentially dangerous for what we glean from it, but from what everyone else does. Paranoid yet? If you listen till the end, you'll find that your beloved and handsome hosts are totally not. But I've long opened each phone call with an admission to the NSA guy tapping in: "I'm masturbating." (joke citation needed)

  • Can We Be Proud of Our Sexuality?

    02/09/2016 Duración: 01h03min

How do you march? Under which banner do you parade? On second thought, why in the righteous F do we even take sides like this? And if this conscription happened because of our genes, that's patently unfair. I'd like to have a bit more control over my life, and a bit more sense. Well, sonny crocket (I'm Tubbs), you're saddled in fast down by the fireside fireplace sonny listenin' (I'm Tubbs) to your pal-o's Donovandamme and Harrisssssssson (the sss is for sssexy), so that bit of more sense, that last one little bit, this one last job, is what's featured behind our storefront glass. To mix a metaphor: soup's on! So get your soup on and have a LISTEN. NOW.

  • Do Celebrities Who Torpedo their Personas Deserve Second Chances?

    26/08/2016 Duración: 02h15min

Eager for a topic set on "Easy" mode, the guys discuss fallen celebrities and reach for an overall takeaway opinion on several key figures, from late musicians to creepy comic book artists to wacky actors and disturbing and horrible people altogether.

  • Is There a Morality to Sexual Fantasies?

    19/08/2016 Duración: 01h11min

BDSM, Rape and Other Things...   Part two in the podcast's three part made-for-television movie has Harry and Don discuss sexual fantasies in all its forms. Starting low and sinking further, topics discussed include domination fantasies and what powers them, rape fantasies, racial sexual preference and the beginning of the "Japan saga".

  • When Is Ethnocentrism Okay?

    19/08/2016 Duración: 57min

Ever? Or Never? Part Three of the podcast's origin story sees the guys tackle Ethnocentrism. What is it? How does it apply to daily life? Is it inherently evil? Talk of Eskimos, World War II and Japan are included.     Linked here is the account of the Inuits and the Hudson Bay race, further ethnocentrisim in a more foundational way.

  • Racial Pride vs. Stereotypes

    19/08/2016 Duración: 01h08min

HOW MUCH DOES RACE INFORM YOUR EVERYDAY LIFE? In this, the first of three "pilot" episodes, Donovan and Harry discussed racial pride, the value of race and and their own experiences growing up and coming to terms with their ethnic backgrounds. An awkward start done awkwardly, this was an attempt to start the series from an honest foundation. As a result the two hosts are laid at their most bare and personal, and even make some mistakes which one attempts to rectify at the end (*hint* it's Donovan). Future Episodes will seek to be less heavy.
