It has grossed over a billion dollars worldwide, and has generated clout for so many people involved. From Justin Lin to James Wan to Rob Cohen, people have come in and made the cars go really fast, which in turn have made people show up in droves. But how did this franchise get to be so successful? And does it deserve the drubbing critics give the majority of its films?
