Former Texas Tech head coach Kliff Kingsbury was named the Arizona Cardinals (or is it Kardinals?) head coach today after spending nearly a month as the offensive coordinator for the USC Trojans. Josh Jung named was named to a preseason All-America list as the baseball season is closing in. We're sure this isn't the last for Jung and the Red Raider baseball team. The men's basketball team takes down the Kansas State Wildcats and Oklahoma Sooners at home and move to 14-1, 3-0 on the season. Texas Tech men's basketball team takes down the West Virginia Mountaineers in Morgantown for the first time since WVU joined the conference. We have some instant reaction. The women's basketball team is off to a hot start as they've already surpassed the win total for 2017 before starting conference play. They also recently picked up a 5* transfer from UCONN in Lexi Gordon, who should be a big time addition when she becomes eligible after sitting out. We're starting to setting into the football off season with weekend activities not centered around Texas Tech football. We'll have basketball most Saturdays, but the end of football for Tech came far too soon this season.
