Our guest this week is Sweeney Boo, whose graphic novel “Eat, and Love Yourself,” a personal tale about eating disorders and body dysmorphia, is out April 14 from BOOM Studios. We talk to her about that, her work on the IDW "Marvel Action Captain Marvel" series, her cat, Star Wars and more. We also have a bonus segment, recorded at Cape Con at the Cape May County Library in September. Matt and Dan talked to two of the librarians there, Olivia Gorecke and Kara Brehm, about how comics get into libraries and from libraries into the hands of readers.

This week’s guest is writer Paul Tobin, who’s got a fun series out from Vault right now called “Heist, or How to Steal a Planet,” about a guy who wants to do just that little thing. We talk about that series, his upcoming middle grade graphic novel “Wrassle Castle,” and his work on titles like “Bandette,” “Colder,” “Plants vs. Zombies” and “Marvel Adventures,” plus a little about his pretty sweet-sounding collection of original art.

Friend of the show Charlie Davis returns for a good old-fashioned hang sesh with Dan and Matt, talking the Dawn of X books, their newfound love of wrestler Jon Moxley/Dean Ambrose, and wondering where in the world are Rictor and Shatterstar.

This week, we welcome back Anthony Marques, who a couple months ago became the new owner and president of the Joe Kubert School of Cartoon and Graphic Art in Dover New Jersey. He talks about coming up through the school as a student, a security guard, an events coordinator, an instructor and now being the man in charge, getting to know Joe and the other Kuberts, his plans for the school and how he balances that and running Dewey’s Comic City in Madison and continuing to draw.

This week, writer Paul Allor joins us to talk about reenvisioning G.I. Joe for the modern era, as well as his upcoming Source Point Press project “Goth,” a series of one-shots that purports to examine different types of goths throughout history, from Visi to mall. Plus you’ll learn why Paul’s dog Short Round may be Dan's favorite creator pet to date.

This week Christopher Hastings joins us to talk about his upcoming run on Valiant’s “Quantum & Woody,” his Kickstarter comic “Draculagate,” the Wario Twitter comic he’s been working on, his podcast and sketch comedy work, and much more. Oh, and his dog, Commissioner Gordon.

This week we’re on a podcast cohost double date with Chris and Christi Eddleman from the show Chrises on Infinite Earths, where they dive deep into comic book crossovers good and bad and find out what makes them tick.
