    Hereditary ATTR amyloidosis, or hATTR amyloidosis, is a rare, inherited condition that has an increased prevalence among people of African descent. As a volunteer with the Black Men's Cancer Action Council, Mr. Scott encourages men to overcome their reluctance to visit the doctor and urges them to get screened for bladder cancer.
