COVID-19 can affect your respiratory tract (nose, throat, lungs), cause an asthma attack, and possibly lead to pneumonia and acute respiratory disease. In this episode of Dr. P on the Pod, Dr. P talks with Dr. Carsten on why racial minorities are disproportionately affected by asthma and why they are at higher risk for serious COVID-19 complications.
