Someone is following you! Someone is stalking you! Someone else is praying for you! Someone is interceding for you! Interceding means intervening and mediating on someone’s behalf! Listen along with Pastor Colombo as he talks about how intercession happens through Jesus.

Our lack of boldness arises from our own view of ourselves. We have not forgotten our sins, our lack, our humanness, our frailties, our shortcomings.  We forget that through the blood of Jesus, God the Father sees us as His child and lovingly wants to have communion and relationship with us. We must allow the true message of salvation to change our way of thinking so that we can enter with boldness, realizing that this is a place where we belong, this is a right given to us to help us overcome through the prayers of boldness to God.

Sometimes it's hard not to lose confidence in God when you are going through a difficult time - especially when the situation you are facing doesn't seem to end.  During prolonged trials and tribulations do not lose hope and confidence in God.

It doesn’t matter that you live close to God - we all will experience hard times.  Job lived close to God, and he was referred to us as perfect, but he passed through the valley of tears, suffering, great sorrow, and loss.  But notice he passed through - we can also.  We as children of God must pass through the garbage dump whatever that means to you right now depending on your situation and circumstance.

Through Christ we effect change. This is all about change. We are change agents! We are a church in the wilderness. All of a sudden the desert begins to turn from death unto life and it’s as though the flowers come alive and rejoice at the presence of God’s people. We are privileged to walk on this supernatural highway as we exude the Presence of Almighty God. We have an effect on each other and those that haven’t chosen to walk on this highway as yet.

God gave Jacob a new name.  Look at the progression in name change as to what was and now is! This was us in sin (Jacob) but this is us in salvation (Israel)! This is how God refers to you and me.
