A lot is being said on the topic of energy lately. There are ongoing debates about whether we should move away from fossil fuels as far as possible and whether the so-called ‘green energy sources’ are really sustainable and desirable for us as a society. If you want to learn more on this topic and understand what is going on in the EU Energy market, tune in to Student Radio Maastricht next Wednesday at 6 pm! blue&yellow members Mathilde Lallemand and Aydin Clara Orberk will explain in simple terms why energy prices are so high lately, why plane tickets are often cheaper than train tickets and compare what is actually ‘green’ and what is greenwashing. The debate will be hosted by Eliza Wójcik, editress-in-chief of the blue&yellow blog, which is part of the European Careers Association Maastricht.

Europe Day is celebrated annually on the 9th of May, honoring peace and unity in Europe. This year, European Careers Association members decided to dive deeper into the topic of what it means to be European, and specifically, what is the value and meaning of being a part of the European Union. In this episode, members of the blue&yellow blog, Eliza and Jeanne, will talk with Nikodem, one of the founders of ECA, about the benefits and obligations flowing from EU membership.
