His designs over the last 37 years have included such iconic attractions as Cars Land at Disney California’s Adventure, Star Wars Galaxy’s Edge at Disneyland and Walt Disney World, New Fantasyland at Tokyo Disneyland. Ken attended UCLA where he received both a BA and MFA in Theater. He started with the Walt Disney Company in 1987 at the newly created Disney Stores Design Team. Throughout his career, Ken has worked with several lighting manufacturers to develop products conducive to the changing entertainment and sustainability environments. In his spare time, Ken enjoys any kind of live entertainment, especially concerts and theater, and going out to new dining places. He also loves to speak to students about lighting and encouraging the next generation to see lighting as a beautiful art form.
