Speaker Bio: Chris and Sara Short are both graduates of BBC (2005, 2006), and Sara worked in the Admissions Office. In addition, Chris will be one of our new board members. They moved to Post Falls in 2007, and they serve at Real Life Ministries. Chris is the Executive Pastor at Real Life and recently Sara became the Women's Discipleship Leader. He sold his electrical business to attend Boise Bible College in 1999 and graduated in 2003. His ministry is simply to rescue the lost for eternity and teach them to redeem their nation. This years theme for Boise Bible College is "Called Out" with a focus on the Church. Speaker Bio: Jeff Fife is the president of ICOM in 2019, he and his family live and serve in Sao Paolo, Brazil. Jeff serves as the Executive Director of Brazil River of Life Ministries. He is the son of Tom and Libby Fife who served in Brazil for 50 years. Jeff holds degrees from: Central Christian College, Johnson University, Jundai Business School in Sao Paolo. Jeff is a church planter in Sao Paolo, and his mission has sent Brazilian missionaries to 6 other countries. You would be amazed at all the many things Jeff has done in his life. Jeff is actively advancing the kingdom, the son of former missionaries of a long time serving family in Brazil, in a major metropolitan city of over 20,000,000 people. Jeff is passionate about his ministry and the spreading of the Gospel. Jeff is married to Monica and they have two sons, Isaac and Roger. He emphasizes the lasting impact on history, regarldess if people remember who we are in the coming years. "If you are called out, it means someone is doing the calling, and the one doing the calling has a expectation. In this workshop, we will address the challenge of a "mind vs. spirit" approach to the faith, then explore ways we can experience the Holy Spirit in prayer and in the midst of daily life. We will discuss these things together and we will engage in some practice exercises that help us to sharpen our ability to listen to the small, sill voice of God's Spirit.
