Samson was wrong about his strength.

At the fall of man God called out to Adam. Why? Because Adam was given the command first. Adam was in charge. It is time for us as Men to take ownership. 

5 When no bush of the field was yet in the land and no small plant of the field had yet sprung up—for the Lord God had not caused it to rain on the land, and there was no man to work the ground, 6 and a mist was going up from the land and was watering the whole face of the ground— 7 then the Lord God formed the man of dust from the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and the man became a living creature. 8 And the Lord God planted a garden in Eden, in the east, and there he put the man whom he had formed. Peeling back there layers of why I called Christian Men "Heroes"

To truly "Act Like Men" we have to know that our identity comes from God. This is the first step to walking in real manhood.

  Ephesians 6:10-12 English Standard Version 10 Finally, be strong in the Lord and in the strength of his might. 11 Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the schemes of the devil. 12 For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places. The world system will jam you up. The desire of satan is to keep Christians from standing for the truth in this evil age. As Christian men we need to have our foundation rooted to Christ.

 The Word of the day is  discernment the ability to judge well.    As men it is important to be able to decipher the truth from a lie. In this life we can be tricked and pulled into close counterfeits. Counterfeits about true religion. Counterfeits about true manhood. To truly be vigilant is to know the word of God and live in that truth. 

  As Men we are charged by God with the responsibility to protect, provide and be the spiritual leaders of our homes. This is a call to vigilance. We must be aware of the schemes of the enemy to do what God has called us to do. Be Watchful, stand firm in the faith, act like men,be strong. 1 Corinthians 16:13 ESV Vigilant  adjective keeping careful watch for possible danger or difficulties.: "the burglar was spotted by vigilant neighbors". Avoid tunnel vision Go for and protect the heart of your family

No topic, No rhyme but the reason is Jesus. Listen in on two men having a conversation about the things of God.

  As Men, it is of the up most importance to get things in our lives in proper order.  Philly TF and I are discussing Business, Family and Life in light of the word of God.  Pray that you enjoy and apply.

Justin Watkins and I are talking about the importance of Godly Men in the lives of younger men. Titus 2:6-8  6 Likewise, urge the younger men to be self-controlled. 7 Show yourself in all respects to be a model of good works, and in your teaching show integrity, dignity, 8 and sound speech that cannot be condemned, so that an opponent may be put to shame, having nothing evil to say about us. 

Are you helping or hindering the cause of Christ? Are you helping or silently sabotaging through your passivity?

Just thinking out loud 

Behold, how good and pleasant it is when brothers dwell in unity! It is like the precious oil on the head, running down on the beard, on the beard of Aaron, running down on the collar of his robes! The epidemic of being busy is killing our joy and keeping us from truly enjoy God. As Christian Men we need to fellowship with like minded men not only to grow spiritually but to live a full godly life. Psalms 133:1   Behold, how good and pleasant it is when brothers dwell in unity!

 As men we each have a choice to take the path of least resistance or take the narrow and harder road.  what are you going to take?
