Episode 042: after a long week delay the Broskis are back. Obtuse speaks about a interesting call he had to dealt with at work, CUPP goes into details about his shitty week, from his dog running away, work issues and etc. Then they discuss about Mac Miller and Eminem’s albums that drop a week or two ago, the Grammys and end off talking on horrific event involving the loss of Kobe Bryant, his daughter and 7 others loss earlier in the day. This episode is dedicated to them their families and loved ones grieving during this time. To Kobe & GiGi, may they Rest In Peace.

Episode 041: Happy New Year! We are now in 2020! First podcast of many more in this exciting new year, the Broskis are back! They go on topics of 90s movie we loved but had creepy endings, movie reboots, goals for the year for themselves and the show & other random rambling as usual. Enjoy!

Episode 39: the Broskis quickly talk on their weeks, then jump right into topics. Starting with the Nick Cannon “diss” towards Eminem, as they express their feelings about the situation. Then we talk about how Andre 3000 is one of the best lyricist ever and why he’s better than Eminem. They switch up the topics and nerd out about the new XBox Series X that was recently announced, and many more rambles as usual with the Broskis.

Episode 038: BOOM! The broskis talk how their non excitement but super chill week and weekends went. The breakdown of their Spotify Wrapped 2019 stuff, how random Eddies taste in music was for the year, also how stupidly talented the Lonely Island is, we watch and listen to Zach Fox new video/song, Vin Diesel in a 1994 commercial and a HUGE LOT of SHOUT OUTS! So shout out to the people who actually read these episode descriptions. :)

Episode 037: the guys speak about how their Thanksgiving went, their 2nd annual Friendsgiving get together on Black Friday and their Saturdays, which includes Eddie’s night out with the squawks and CUPP’s lovely night out downtown with his gf. Plus some random rambling as usual.

Episode 036: The broskis are finally back at CUPP's crib and with good old Girth. They discuss about the rest of their weeks with work, the difference between Disney+ & Netflix, and much more in this short but sweet & hilarious episode! 

Episode 035: Obtuse opens up with being broke back in the day and ask a question about the Cleveland “Browns”, then the boys jump into how their epic Friday night out with each other went down, CUPP’s Saturday night filled with Disney +, what the guys would do if they were ghost, talk a little about Kanye visit to Joel Osteen church and much more random talk.

Episode 034: the boys get started on updates regarding to their jobs, Obtuse tells a story of losing his keys over the weekend and “white powdered donuts”, CUPP then talks about his new puppy, and they discuss, break down & express their feelings about the whole situation of Drake being boo’d off stage at Tyler, The Creators Camp Flog Gnaw carnival/festival.

Episode 033: after week delay CUPP & Obtuse are back! They guys talk on their weeks and how their Halloween’s went. They talk and discuss about their feelings about Kanye West’s new album Jesus Is King, the formula of making songs & album nowadays, the topic No’s in November, and directing CUPP into full rage rant talk about setting up Christmas decorations early. And ending the show on talking and remembering John Witherspoon.

Episode 032: once more CUPP & Obtuse chop it up in a car session. But this time they get into the spirit of the Halloween/Spooky season and talk about horror films. Break down what movies they enjoy watching and which ones are terrible that hurt the movie genre & talk major shit about those hahaha.  :)

Episode 031: the Broskis have another lovely car session on a Monday night. JakeCUPP deals with allergies as Obtuse carries the show. Off the bat they talk about their two different eventful weekends; CUPP’s work situation, his girlfriend and drinking wine. And they cap off with a discussion about SoundCloud and what it does for rappers.

Episode 030: on this episode we start off by sponsoring without a sponsor with talking about Liquid Death water. Obtuse gives his thoughts about the DBK interview from last episode, then goes on to discuss his excitement for Eddie Murphy’s future stand ups and note advanced before dropping, CUPP’s review of the Joker movie, and tells the subject being addressed in it spoiler free. Talk a little about Ron from Jersey Shore being arrested for domestic abuse, 69 denying witness protection and the topic of celebrities getting away with stuff for being famous. Plus some nerd out topics, what we’re currently listening and more sponsoring of Liquid Death without being sponsored. :)

Episode 029: on this special edition of Between Broskis Podcast, JakeCUPP sits down and has a 1 on 1 interview via FaceTime with a internet friend & upcoming rapper, Chicago's very own Don’t Be Kendall (DBK).

Episode 028: JakeCUPP & Eddie Obtuse record this episode in CUPP’s car in front of Obuse’s house. Off the the bat starting the show off with Neon Moon mixed with Bob Ross references in the intro, and through the episode, the boys then reminence over times they use to chill and talk in the car back in the day. The topic discussions go from the Area 51 event this past week to Ash from Pokémon winning finally, conspiracy theories, the end of television with all these apps coming. Our main topic is the story of 6ix9ine’s testimony during the week. And to cap off the show Eddie pisses CUPP off with Logan Paul boxing match story that’s coming up.

Episode 027: The guys got back to Saturday night of recording fun. Obtuse starts off with a hilarious character to kick off the show, and then talks about being back to his normal hours finally, topic else we were a little slippy but talk a little on Nicki Minaj's retirement, her legacy, artist never really retiring,  and how we would retire with money. Then we go over Sony's CEO saying "the door is closed" on Spider-Man's MCU return, ASAP Rocky's attorney gettin shot in Sweden, the Nintendo Direct/Smash Bros update and whos top 5 to appear on the game. Football is back, going over it a little and who football players hit people and JakeCUPP's music suggestions for the week. 

Episode 026: on this episode Obtuse talks about his week, how he give his dog a bath but accidentally getting some medicine on myself, a crazy conservation he had with a customer. CUPP then goes on about his “almost perfect” week. The main focus topic was talking about the new Dave Chappelle Netflix special Sticks & Stones. Our review on it, and breaking down the bad reviews from so many. With that we go on a bit of rant, running with this and how comedy is. Also we mention and discuss the story about Death Row Records being brought by Hasbro, the final Joker trailer & the Star Wars D23 special look.

Episode 025: JakeCUPP & Eddie Obtuse start off by talking about some spicy chips they're eating in the beginning, as CUPP suggests maybe having a reaction recording of him eating something really spicy. Then jump into how CUPP's job was during, stating he gets no respect in the line of duty he does (custodial). First topic of night was the chicken sandwich wars thats taking over the nation between Popeyes & Chick-Fil-A, also dive into whos has the best chicken and us talking about exploring new places to eat in the city! In the nerd out section of this, we give out our thoughts about Spider-Man now being removed from the MCU as Sony & Disney fail to a new agreement, details on the new stuff coming out with the Disney Plus app, MK11 DLC roster fully unveiled and a whole bunch of WITCHABITCHASS-ness throughout the episode. 

Episode 024: Welcome to very 1st recording under our the new name; on this episode CUPP & Obtuse sit down talk about the meaning of Between Broskis, and how the name came to be, and how some people are reacting to it. Then we move on to the events of Saturday's night fun of celebrating Obtuse's birthday, mention the way we party presently and use to back we were younger, touch up on A$AP Rocky being found guilty on his case, the partnership with the NFL & Jay-Z with some little football talk and bandwagons in sports. And finally some nerding out on comic book super heroes. Happy birthday to our boy Eddie Obtuse. This episode is for you, and to our fans thank you for the support. Hope yall enjoy this one! Episode 023: THE FINAL RECORDING UNDER THE NAME “A Simple Ass Podcast (A.S.A.P.)” so for the majority of this episode, JakeCUPP and Eddie Obtuse just go over the past 22 episodes of the podcast, what led to this decision to change up the podcast name/brand and look forward to what’s next. We also talk about some Marvel stuff like Deadpool being PG-13, we talk a little about YouTube and Eddie talks abit about his old job. So we hope you enjoy this one, we are A.S.A.P. now and forever!
