On this week's episode of Kickin' & Streamin' Podcast, Graham & Jocelyn discuss the Netflix original movie 'Ma Rainey's Black Bottom' starring Viola Davis and the late Chadwick Boseman, and a fantastic ensemble of actors; which includes Glynn Turman, Colman Domingo and Michael Potts, also featuring Taylour Paige. The film is based on a play of the same title by August Wilson, and it's directed by George C Wolfe with a screenplay by Ruben Santiago-Hudson. Graham & Jocelyn began by acknowledging the effort to transpose an original play into a film without negating the original stage play essence. Graham & Jocelyn reflected on Chadwick Boseman's performance in this film; which Jocelyn describes as 'transcendent,' and the two co-hosts expressed their sadness at the actor's untimely death from colon cancer this pass summer.  The film is said to be Boseman's very last acting work before his death.    This and all of our podcast episodes will be availab
