Graham & Jocelyn discuss Netflix original movie Dolemite Is My Name, a biopic about the life and work of comedian, actor, producer, dancer, and rap icon Rudy Ray Moore, starring Eddie Murphy. Jocelyn begins by pointing out how statistically, she shouldn't have known much about Rudy Ray Moore, or the character of Dolemite, yet she did, even though she cannot bring herself to remember how exactly she became acquainted with both the character or the comedian. Jocelyn begins by saying how she enjoyed the movie although she started watching it without any sort of expectation. Graham points out the movie is a feel-good type of movie about going after success despite how many doors may close on one's face.
