"Conscious breathing is my anchor.”  ~Thich Nhat Hahn Today's Frequently Asked Friday (FAF) picks up where last Friday's Mindfulness vs. Habit episode left off, exploring the significant role habit plays in mindfulness. To recap, an acquaintance "thought leader" asserted that he didn't believe in habit; he believed only in mindfulness. In the episode, we described at length how this is dichotomous thinking, and habit and mindfulness coexist brilliantly together.  In fact, we use our conscientious mind to intentionally craft habits to serve us in a subconscious fashion.  But there's more to the story when you think about the idea that MINDFULNESS is all-important.
