Brown, 16 at the time was a sex trafficker working under an abusive pimp when she met Johnny Allen at a local fast food joint. Soon, Allen was found dead by a gunshot wound to the head. Brown was tried, convicted and sentenced for first-degree murder and robbery.</p> <br> <p>Brown's story has caught national attention. She is now fighting to convince Tennessee's departing governor to give her clemency and commute her sentence. Unfortunately the governor, Bill Haslam decided not to include Brown on his list of 11 people eligible to receive a pardon. What does this mean for Brown moving forward
