As we remember the resurrection of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, we believe in the power of His death for our sins, burial and His resurrection so that we can have an opportunity for eternal life. As Christians, we believe in what Jesus did because we hold fast to His Word. One of the reasons we hold fast to His Word is that we believe in the scriptures. We were not there when Jesus went through everything He went through at Calvary, so we have to make a conscious decision to believe in the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ and the scriptures are what we believe in and also what we get our strength from.
