The ranks of the Division I’s undefeated teams are down to 9 entering December. It’s a relatively small group for less than four weeks into the season, and it is not filled with low-major contenders. All but two of the schools reside in either the Power Five leagues or the Big East, and neither Gonzaga nor Saint Mary’s qualifies as a stunning story.
