Beyond The Badge

On this episode of KSL's beyond the badge, we honor Officer Shay Ballard of the Sandy City Police Department. When a special needs student was precariously balanced in a beam 10-15 feet above the ground. Officer Ballard was able to jump up on the beam and was able to run and grab him. As a school resource officer, Officer Ballard feels like he is in the ideal job for him. KSL's Beyond the Badge recognizes the good work that Utah's public safety officers do every day to make each of our lives better.
