Local Authority: Live at Sonic Masala Fest, The Triffid, Newstead, 14 August 2021 Local Authority began as the solo project of Jacque McGill. In 2017 bassist Erica Sunnex and drummer Lachlan Andrews joined and they began playing gigs around Brisbane. In 2019 the band released their debut album, "Negative Space", and in 2021 they were joined by new member Kailan O'Dell. They released a double A-side single, "Stephenson Street/Coalfalls" in 2020 and an EP, "Pieces" in 2021.
