White Lodge: Forming in the quaint gold coast suburb of southport in 2013, they’ve been building up a solid fan base with their concrete psych filled riffs and furious surf beats. So far they have four releases to their name, two EP’s and two split seven inches with another release in the pipeline. Recorded & mixed by Branko Cosic. Recorded at The Triffid, Brisbane, December 19th 2015. Mope City: Mope City formed in Marrickville in 2012. Mat Nev fronts the band half of the tim, he’s been involved in Day Ravies, Drown Under, and Snotty Babies. For the other half of the time Julia Wylie of Snotty Babies sings lead. Rounding out the classic power trio formation is sam Wilkinson of Day Ravies fame manning the skins. They have just released their debut LP ‘Petri Dish’ on Tenth Court Records with web publications Rolling Stone, Noisey, and Who The Hell all taking notice. Recorded & mixed by Luke Walsh.
