Mad Nanna: Appearing on more international underground music labels than you can poke a stick at, Mad Nanna are quietly one of Australia’s most acclaimed rock bands. They’ve toured both the US and Europe in the last year but you won’t find them at any of the colossal summer music festivals and you won’t read about them in any music street press either. Here I am hammering on about these mainstays of the Australian Music industry when these sorts of things are completely irrelevant to a group like these guys. I could say, “They’re from another world” but that’s just silly. Mad Nanna are from Earth, they play Earth music. They just don’t have songs about summer, actually I don’t know that, maybe Michael does sing about Summer. I’m not gonna pretend I know what Mad Nanna are about – that would take all the fun out of it. So, who are Mad Nanna?
