Naked Maja: Naked Maja are an experimental pop four piece from Brisbane who’ve been playing around the traps for about two years now. They’re made up of Cedie Janso, Chris Pearson, Emma Sayer and Scott Wilson and they call the likes of Stereolab, Brian Eno and Deerhunter among their varied influences – all influences that I can wholeheartedly endorse as excellent artists to name check. But Naked Maja are definitely more than simply the sum of their influences. They’ve clearly developed distinct musical identity upon a floating sea of musical ideas.
