The first remix I ever produced with DJ Leanh from Brazil was "Stronger Together" by Jessica Sanchez. And those two words, "stronger together," is how I would so fittingly describe the relationship with my extremely talented co-producer. Until that remix, I honestly had been struggling with how my remixes were sounding. There were elements of the mix that I couldn't quite figure out, and was growing tired of creating what I thought was sub-par work. When you a music producer, you are expected to be a "band in a box," if you will. You have to know how to run the music production software, and have a basic understanding of music. You also have to be a "drummer," a "bass player," a "keyboard player," and so forth. When we remixed a song, the record labels only sent the vocal parts - the rest is up to us.
