Dan Jacobs of Atreyu & I have a conversation about how he coped with 2020, his 1st brew, the soundtrack of his youth, his 1st show, how he has been filling the void, writing for other musicians, Baptize, an Atreyu brew & his hangover cure. Throughout this interview, Dan was drinking a Brown Sugar Oatmilk Coffee while I enjoyed Lagabière 's "Saison Dvala" from their Série Inspiration. This 5.3% ABV Atypical Saison was brewed with America Hops & fermented with a strain of Scandinavian Yeast. It poured out with a slightly hazy light yellow veil, smashed earthy notes on the nose, slapped a slightly sweet yet dry crushable finish. This is a Heavy Montreal presents Vox&Hops episode!
