Josh Winckowski, making his 4th start season and 1st since May 2nd, worked 5 scoreless innings and notched his 2nd win in the Red Sox 4-1 victory over the San Diego Padres Sunday afternoon at Fenway Park. Rafael Devers and Jarren Duran both hit home runs in the win. Winckowski gave up 4 hits, walked no one and struck out 1. Devers hit a 2-Out, 2-R HR in the bottom first inning. Duran went deep in the 5th to make it 4-0. It was his 2nd of the series. The Sox go 2-3 on their homestand against the Blue Jays and Padres. Sunday's win helped the Sox avoid being swept at home for the 2nd time this season and they also avoided a 4th straight loss. Kenley Jansen worked a 1-2-3 9th to record the save.  Red Sox are now on the road for their next 6 games with a 3-game series against the Marlins getting underway Tuesday night in Miami.
