The third episode of the DESIblitz.com - The Melting Pot! In this episode, Amo, Fatima and Thomas tackle the very serious issue of gender in gaming. In the games themselves we talk about whether or not there are a lack of female protagonists, are female characters hypersexualised and how NPC's are portrayed. Whereas, outside of games we discuss the harassment female gamers receive online as well as the adversity faced by those who work within the industry. Also, Thomas comes up with great idea for the Brown Narrative. Drawing on inspiration from rickshaw runs, Oregan trail and 80 Days you set off on a cross-country journey through India with only a few rupees and a rickety rickshaw. The gender and race of your character would affect the narrative and difficulty of your adventure.
