Host/Producer: Amy Browne The second and final segment produced at the Alewives Festival in Pembroke, Maine in May 2025. Segment 1 was produced by Beatrice Alsop-Cheeney, IDEA homeschool student, with assistance from Kate Blofson. Today’s segment was produced by Kate Blofson, beekeeper and community radio organizer at WRUJ in Richmond, Vermont, along with the Greenhorns parents group and Downeast Salmon Federation. About the host: Amy Browne started out at WERU as a volunteer news & public affairs producer in 2000, co-hosting/co-producing RadioActive with Meredith DeFrancesco. She joined the team of Voices producers a few years later, and has been WERU’s News & Public Affairs Manager since January, 2006.
