Locked On Red Sox

The Red Sox (83-70) never led at any point on Thursday afternoon and dropped a 5-3 decision to the Athletics in the series finale at Fenway Park.  With the loss in the series finale, the Red Sox went 2-4 on their homestand against the Yankees and Athletics.  ----Bello on the Bump: Brayan Bello made the start in the series finale Thursday afternoon. Bello and the Sox were down 3-0 4 Hitters (16 Pitches) in with Brett Rooker hitting a 2-run Home Run & Tyler Soderstrom adding an RBI Single. Bello threw 27 pitches in the 3rd and gave up an unearned run after issuing back-to-back 2-out walks. Bello lasted 4 Innings and allowed 3 runs (2 earned runs) on 5 Hits. He walked 2 and struck out 3.
