The Red Sox (83-70) never led at any point on Thursday afternoon and dropped a 5-3 decision to the Athletics in the series finale at Fenway Park.  With the loss in the series finale, the Red Sox went 2-4 on their homestand against the Yankees and Athletics.  ----Bello on the Bump: Brayan Bello made the start in the series finale Thursday afternoon. Bello and the Sox were down 3-0 4 Hitters (16 Pitches) in with Brett Rooker hitting a 2-run Home Run & Tyler Soderstrom adding an RBI Single.
