The Red Sox (88-72) came-from-behind and walked off in the Bottom of the 9th Inning with a 4-3 win in the series opener against the Detroit Tigres Friday night at Fenway Park. Ceddanne Rafaela knocked in the winning run with an RBI Triple that scored Romy Gonzalez all the way from 1st Base with the winning run. With the win, the Sox clinch a Wild Card spot and are in the postseason for the first time since 2021.  Red Sox 6 relievers combined for 6 scoreless Innings. Aroldis Chapman gave up a leadoff Double in the 9th but left the potential go-ahead run at 3rd by getting 2 strikeouts to work out of the jam.  -----Harrison on the Hill: Kyle Harrison made his 2nd straight start and was unable to get out of the 4th Inning. Harrison managed to work out of a bases loaded and 1 out jam in the 1st Inning.
