Locked On Red Sox

The Red Sox (87-71) improved to 4-1 on their current 6-game Road Trip with a 7-1 win over the Toronto Blue Jays Wednesday night at Rogers Centre in Toronto. With Wednesday's win, the Red Sox are a season-high 16 games over .500 for the 3rd time this season. The Sox have won the first 2 games of the series and will go for the series sweep Thursday night.---- Crochet Day: Garrett Crochet was terrific in earning his 18th victory of the season Wednesday night. Crochet is now tied with Yankees starter Max Fried with an AL-Best 18 wins on the season. The Sox lefty went 8 scoreless innings and retired 10 in a row to finish off his outing.  Crochet allowed only 3 Hits. He walked no one and struck out 6.  Crochet allowed the leadoff man to reach only once over his 8 Innings and 5 of his 6 strikeouts on the night came against the 1st batter of the inning.
