Matthew 7:24-27 (ESV) Jesus calls us to be His DISCIPLES, and then He TEACHES us how Mark 1:16-20 (CSB) To become a disciple of Jesus we don't have to have a GREAT RESUME, because we SIMPLY PRESENT HIS The journey of discipleship starts with BEING IN RELATIONSHIP with Jesus John 17:24, 26 (CSB) Discipleship is not something that is DONE TO US, discipleship is a DECISION TO ACCEPT HIS INVITATION The journey of discipleship is a LIFETIME PROCESS of BECOMING MORE AND MORE LIKE JESUS Luke 9:23-25 (CSB) You can't FOLLOW Jesus ALONE Jesus desires that we BECOME HIS DISCIPLES and INVITE OTHERS to do the same Matthew 28:19-20 (CSB) As we follow Jesus, we will BUILD THE STRONG FOUNDATION we need to stand strong NO MATTER WHAT COMES OUR WAY
