Sinopsis

Andrea Haverkamp is a 2nd year PhD student in the College of Engineering, who is asking what it means to think of yourself as an engineer and examining how the ’engineering culture’ has perpetuated the lack of diversity we see today. We discuss the parallels in STEM and other male-dominated fields as well as how her research hopes to begin chipping away at the gender disparity in the workplace. Please find us on social media!
