Ready- prepared to spend time God - place and plan - read a proverb a day and read 5 psalms a day - practical and personal 2. Read 3. Reflect- take away at least one thing truth or verse - quality not quantity - what does this passage say about God? - what does it tell me about myself? 4. Respond - in prayer Prayer based on the Word of God is most pleasing to God 5. Record - Journal what the Lord did, verses, blessings, prayer requests How do you pray? 1. Praise- psalm 100 2. Repent- keep shorts accounts of sin in our life 3. Ask- prayer list 4. Yield- give your life to God to work
