Oreste's message on Sunday 8th April 2012 is available for download. Jesus told His disciples that He must suffer, be killed and be raised back to life on more than one occasion.  He was preparing them for the pinnacle of His mission that would see Him complete the work of opening up the way for people to escape death and hell and enter into eternal life in God's kingdom.  Each Easter we celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ and rejoice that He is alive. However for the disciple of Jesus this celebration is not limited to one day in the year. It is a continual celebration of our freedom, rescue and salvation that has come through the death and suffering of our Saviour on the cross. That Saviour is Jesus and the guarantee of the truth of all He achieved for us is proven through the fact that He was raised back to life from the grave. Jesus is alive - just like He told us.
