Hey everyone and thanks for joining us for the first episode of 80’s In August 2019. “What is this ‘80’s in August’ nonsense?”, you ask? Well, it’s a complete bullshit excuse of a theme month that came about because I’m lazy and thought a theme month would make picking films easier. So I saw that August was the 8th month of the year and immediately went to “80’s”. This is the logic you’re getting here. It’s really sad and pathetic, no? Anyway, it also allows me to bother Luke with films from the 80’s that I really love, and gives Luke an excuse to pick one non-horror film to review each year so that’s neat. This one is all my pick though, and we are talking all about Robert England’s “976-Evil”. I love this one, and since it doesn’t fit in with our usual motif, I figured it’d be a good one to start this year’s 80’s-fest!
