What a great human conversation with Doug Thompson. He is a Senior Technology Strategist for Microsoft and has been for over 18 years. A 'unicorn' (his words) who can do the nerdy stuff, but also connect with the people sales side. A rare breed, but so glad I had this conversation. We didn't plan a subject for this podcast, it was purely about meeting a new friend and during our chat I realised a huge thing. I had not connected with Doug because of Microsoft, as awesome as that is, I had actually connected with his personal brand.
