INTRODUCING SYDNEY BERQUIST! The West is a big, big place.  If you never have driven 100+ miles between towns without seeing a house or any other service, then you don't really understand the scope of the West. When it comes to ranching out here, there is a lot of ground that can support cattle and sheep during the summer but not in the winter.  So, ranchers move large amounts of livestock to this high country for summer time grazing, and they end up with cattle spread across multiple areas and multiple states. Today's guest, Sydney Berquist, is part of a cattle ranching family that runs cattle in this way.  Syndey is growing up with this as her life, and she has developed a love for it.  Her days are taken up by her 40 mile drive to school, attending classes, high school rodeo, FFA, raising her own flock of ewes and working on her families ranch.  She is busy, and she doesn't mind at all.
