Even though you know my love for you is great, you also need to be reminded of this again and again, for your hearts grow tired easily. Your mind loses focus and you become distracted. You forget your way and forget my words, but even still, my love for you does not waver. Because I am The Good Shepherd I will give you what you need, and will I remind you frequently. I say all these things again, and again, in persistent reassurance. Because you lose your way, I guide you back to your path. And because you get tired, I pick you up, feed and comfort you.
