18335 people died from fentanyl overdose is in 2016 released by the center for disease control and prevention. Heroin overdoses killed 16,000 people that same year. In 2011 fentanyl overdose is killed 1662 people sense than that number has took off. On the streets you hear heroine is almost impossible to find replaced by Fentanyl and Suboxone.
