The remote town of Broome, on the Kimberley coast of Western Australia, has an LGBTI population broadly accepted by its wider community. The community is so widely accepted that, when the town hosts its own Mardi Gras, most of the people who attend are straight.  - Lääne Austraalias Kimberley rannikul asub väikelinn Broome, mille elanikud toetavalt aksepteerivad oma kohalikku gay-kogukonda. LGBTI kogukond on nii aktsepteeritud, et kui linn võõrustas oma esimest Mardi Gras'd, olid enamik osalejatest heteroseksuaalsed.
