Chronicles Abroad

  Nicole from I Luv 2 Globe Trot is currently living her best life in Oman. Prior to her move abroad (10 years ago), the job market in the States frustrated her. Her friends’ who were at the time living and teaching in Japan sparked her curiosity. Hearing about their lives abroad fueled her to commit to taking the leap. She utilized social media to connect with other people of color living abroad. She shared with us what it’s as a Black woman living in the Middle East. To her surprised many of the Omani’s looked just like her and called her sister. She says she has fallen in love with the country. Nicole details how travel has changed her life. And most importantly how travel has increased her confidence in navigating the globe and other nuances about living abroad. Nicole and her business partner created the I Luv 2 Globe Trot Facebook community 7 years ago to give people a space to connect and ask questions about travel and the living abroad process.
